The Municipality opened the Scott and Wesley Gerrish Library in May 2008. The 9,000 square-foot library looks like a cozy ski chalet and is nestled at the base of stunning mountains and the local ski resort. The building also houses the Girdwood Community Room and is connected to the Girdwood Fire Department.

From the Seward Hwy, exit at Girdwood and proceed 2.5 miles along Alyeska Hwy. Turn right onto Egloff Drive (formerly Glacier Creek Dr.). The Library is at the far end of the Fire Station-Library complex.
