The first Anchorage public library was established in 1917 in the parish Hall of All Saints Episcopal Church on 3rd Avenue and K Street. 100 years later and the Anchorage Public Library is still going strong!

A new partnership with The Children’s Hospital at Providence provides parents of babies in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit easy access to books, songs, movies and television programs.

Mountain View Provides Access to 3D Printing
The Mountain View Library is encouraging patrons to get creative and try new technology. Using our 3D printer, community members have come in with an idea and turned that idea into reality.
