Loussac Event Center

The Loussac Event Center is an expansive, circular venue spanning 2,627 square feet with an 80-foot diameter that occupies the entire east wing of the Loussac Library. This stunning rotunda-style space features a dramatic two-story domed ceiling supported by eight columns creating a unique venue for weddings, conferences, retreats, and milestone celebrations.

The main event area is located on the second floor (note that access is only available from the third floor), offering a large open floor plan with three private offices and a versatile alcove ideal for equipment storage, catering setup, or use as a green room. Above, the third floor boasts a sweeping circular balcony overlooking the rotunda. This level also connects to the Galleria—a spacious corridor leading to the main library—and the adjacent Ann Stevens Reading Room, which can be added to your rental for an even more expansive experience (additional charge).

This unique venue offers privacy, charm, and flexibility for your gatherings.

The Loussac Event Center is available outside of library hours.
