Voter Information

This is a regular, in-person election. A Nonpartisan Top Four Primary is used to determine the top four vote getters that will advance to the General Election, regardless of political affiliation.

• Sunday, July 19, 2026 - Deadline for voters to register to vote or update their registration.
• Monday, August 3, 2026 - Absentee In-Person, Early Vote, Electronic Transmission and Special Needs voting begins.
• Saturday, August 8, 2026 - Deadline to receive absentee by-mail applications. 
• Monday, August 17, 2026 - Deadline to receive absentee electronic transmission ballot applications.
• Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - Election day, absentee ballots must be postmarked by today. Electronic transmission ballots must be received by 8 PM Alaska Time.

Loussac Library is the polling location for voters in precinct 14-375 (North Midtown No. 6) on election day. No Anchorage Public Library locations are open for early or absentee voting in the Primary Election. Please refer to the list below for absentee and early voting sites.
