Join us to learn the simplest form of medieval bookbinding, the limp binding. Referred to as libri sine asseribus (books without endboards), limp bound books were used as notebooks and in private collections.
Basic materials and tools will be provided (paper, fabric for the cover, waxed linen thread, awls, bone folders, and needles), but if you would like something fancier, please bring it yourself.
Taught by Claire Knudsen-Latta (Cynehild Cynesigesdohtor)
